Hey folks, I struggle to switch gears after work—my mind keeps racing through unfinished tasks, even hours later. How do you ground yourself at the end of the workday and actually feel present again?

That post-work “mental hangover” is so real. The body’s home, but the brain’s still running laps. What worked for me was creating a firm boundary between “task mode” and “home mode.” I found something on Amanita Universe https://amanita-universe.us/ about resetting the nervous system naturally, and tried incorporating dried fly agaric into my after-work transition. Just a tiny amount and 20 minutes of silence—no emails, no errands, no stimulation. It was the first thing that gave me a real sense of exhale. I didn’t feel numb—I felt fully landed. That grounding carries into the evening, and now I don’t need to “crash” to stop thinking about work.
